Road Rescue Type III ambulances are built to deliver tough-as-nails cutaway performance for any emergency situation. These aluminum-constructed vehicles buck industry trends in all the right ways with eight ambulance chassis choices. Whether you’re looking for a Ford ambulance or a Chevy chassis, Road Rescue delivers a long list of top-of-the-line inclusions to make this the ambulance crews salivate over.

  • Road Rescue ambulances are built with CNC Plasma and Laser Cutters, VHB tape and robotic welding for repeatable results, rock-solid precision and quicker lead times.
  • REV Group’s support and advanced engineering practices back each unit, starting with construction in an ISO 9001:2015 certified factory.
  • Each Road Rescue comes equipped with top-of-the-line features inside the patient area, like anti-microbial cabinetry interiors, all wrapped in a safety-focused structure.

Road Rescue’s Type III ambulances are street tough rebels, each riding on a Ford or Chevy cutaway chassis. From upgraded aesthetic choices that double as extra protection, to features only found on a Road Rescue, these emergency vehicles are prepared for every scenario.

Formed corner extrusions are a focal point and a unique industry feature of the Road Rescue ambulance lineup. Rather than leave corner edges vulnerable, the Road Rescue extrusions wrap around the corner of the unit and are welded to the side panel for a seamless design.

Rubber rail fendering comes standard, just another touch Road Rescue adds to its fleet. Superior to C-channel rails, these rubber rails run as one smooth continuous transition over the fender, providing aesthetic appeal, as well as an area to add reflective inserts.

Road Rescue ambulances come with a ladder-frame subfloor that creates an extra barrier of protection in the event of an accident. Comprised of a full-length tube that runs the length of the structure, the subfloor distributes impact across the unit, rather than in one location.

When it comes to Road Rescue emergency vehicles, a long list of high-end features are the standard. Equipped with industry-best features and built using high-quality materials and construction techniques, these ambulances are street tough — inside and out.
